Teacher guide · Step 5

Track progress

See who has done the homework, how well, and which words to go over again in class.

Checking a class's homework results

At a glance

The top of Classroom shows your classes, students and assignments, and how many students have yet to start. Still out with your classes lists homework that isn't finished yet, with what's due this week and what's overdue. Open Classroom

One assignment in detail

Open a class, then an assignment, to see every student on the roster, including those who haven't started:

  • Status: not started, in progress or finished, and which exercises they've done.
  • Score and time spent, and when they were last active.
  • Struggling with: the words each student misses most.
  • The class is missing: the words the whole class finds hardest, so you know what to reteach.

Students who need your attention are listed first.

Closing the loop

The words the class is missing make a good next set. Build a short review set from them (step 3) and assign it (step 4). With an AI assistant, you can just ask: “Make a review set from the words Period 3 missed and assign it for Friday.”
