Plan with Claude or ChatGPT

Connect Chatterbox to the AI assistant you already use. Describe a lesson, and it builds the set, writes the exercises, assigns the homework and tells you how the class did.

Chatterbox in ChatGPT and Claude, for learners and teachers

Connect your assistant

It takes about a minute, using the same Chatterbox account you use in the web app. Everyone uses the same connector address:

https://mcp.chatterboxlabs.io/mcp
  • Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Chatterbox, paste the address and select Connect.
  • ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Create, paste the address and choose OAuth. Adding your own connector may first need Developer mode, under Advanced settings.

When a Chatterbox page opens, sign in and allow access. Your assistant never sees your password. Full steps, including other assistants, are on Chatterbox for AI assistants.

Things to ask

  • “Create a Spanish 2 class called Period 3 and give me the join code.”
  • “Build a lesson on food and restaurant vocabulary for Period 3: 15 words with example sentences, plus fill-in-the-blank and a short conversation.”
  • “Here's my word list for unit 4. Make it a Chatterbox set with example sentences.”
  • “Design an interactive activity where students label a family tree in Spanish, and add it to my family set.”
  • “Assign the food set to Period 3 as homework due Friday, with matching, multiple choice and the conversation.”
  • “How is Period 3 doing on the food homework? Who hasn't started, and which words should I reteach?”

What an assistant adds

Everything an assistant makes appears in the web app and on phones straight away. The web app builds a complete set on its own; an assistant lets you shape it exactly:

  • write the exact sentences, conversations and reading passages you want, tied to your unit and grammar point;
  • design custom interactive activities for your lesson, such as a family tree to label or a market to haggle in, whose answers Chatterbox checks;
  • plan a whole lesson, assign it and check results in one conversation.

Before it deletes anything or removes a student, your assistant asks you first. It sees your students by display name only, never their email addresses.
