Joining your class on Chatterbox

1. Make a free account

Use the web app on a computer, or the Chatterbox app on your phone. It's the same account on both.

2. Join your class

Your teacher will give you a six-character join code.

• On the web: choose Classroom in the menu on the left. Under Join a class with a code, type the code and select Join.
• On your phone: open the Exercises tab, then Classrooms. Type the code and tap Join.

3. Do your homework

• On the web: your homework is on the Classroom page, soonest due first. Open it, then select each activity to start.
• On your phone: it's under Exercises → Homework.

When you finish an activity, it's ticked off. When they're all done, you'll see Homework finished, and your teacher sees your results straight away.

What your teacher sees

Your teacher sees your display name, your avatar and your homework progress for their class: what you've finished, your scores, the time you spent and the words you found hardest. Your teacher never sees your email address.
