Meet The Team

 Grant had the idea for Chatterbox 9 months ago and has been unable to rest since. 

He is originally from Wichita and is a self-taught programmer learning from online courses and projects. He is passionate about empowering others and believes allowing the world to learn new languages for free will have a great impact. He is currently working at Koch Inc in addition to Chatterbox.

Grant spent many hours on the application focusing on a variety of different initiatives. He is very grateful to work with such talented people who he can help support and turn crazy ideas into reality.

  Alex is a very relentless individual that doesn't mind learning new things. He is very experienced in the finance space and brings a unique perspective to Chatterbox. He is originally from Dallas, TX and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kansas State University. While he was in college, he was an Investment Analyst with Koch Disruptive Technologies and a Financial Analyst at University Venture Fund Crossroads. Alex leads our business strategy and investigates opportunities where there is value to be created. His work is crucial to the continued success of Chatterbox. 

Jared is extremely intelligent and learns very fast. This combined with his years of experience makes him  able to accomplish just about anything he sets his mind to.

He was born in Puerto Rico and came to Wichita State where he graduated with a Bachelors of Business and a Masters of Data Science. He later found an interest in Cloud and is able to combine his education with his passion to give incredible insights. He is currently a Staff Engineer at NBCUniversal.

Jared built our API system present on our mobile application and is currently working on a data structure allowing us to scale to other languages with Gen AI in a fraction of time compared to other companies.

Marcio has many years of experience teaching and that is very present in his work. He is able to simplify a language and teach it to our uses through animation very effectively.

He is originally from Lima, Peru and came to Friends University playing soccer and graduated with a Bachelors of Psychology. He later attended WSU where he graduated with a Master of Arts in Language and Literature.

Chatterbox thrives on making an application for many users feel like a 1-1 tutor. Marcio’s work has been a huge part of that working with the animation team to be able to deliver videos explaining the grammar of the language.

Ravi has launched more than 10 applications and brought this experience to Chatterbox. Our application would not be live if Ravi was not on the team. 

He is from Ahmedabad, India and graduated from Gujarat Technological University with a Bachelors of Engineering. He has experience with just about any front end framework you can name.

Ravi is a key part of Chatterbox where he takes the designs from the team and brings them to execution flawlessly and quickly. He makes sure that our styling works on any screen size and any device. He is going to continue to be an important part of Chatterbox moving forward.

Alex is a very talented software developer and is considered a jack of all trades technologically. His experience in many different technologies makes him able to build things single handedly. Alex is one of the most talented Engineers I have met.

He is originally from Sedalia, Missouri and graduated from Missouri State in Computer Science. He is currently working at Koch Inc as a software Engineer.

Alex is an important part over how our application manages and directs data. He built our API and backend services that direct everything from the vocab to the AI responses.

Álvaro is a very hard worker and a crucial part of the team, delivering key features in tight deadlines.

Alvaro is originally from Seville, Spain and has been in Wichita for 1 year. He graduated from Universidad Loyola with a Masters of Engineering and a Bachelors in robotics. He is currently working at NIAR as a project engineer.

Álvaro is a key part of Chatterbox where he worked with different AI tools to be able to generate images for vocabulary words. He also utilized our data loader tool to upload the correct translations of English words for the Spanish course. 

Beatriz has a very creative mind and is always willing to sit down and do the gritty tasks but consistently looks to automate if possible.

She is originally from Málaga, Spain and has been in Wichita for 3 years. She is currently studying Industrial Engineering at WSU and is set to graduate May 2025.

Beatriz has been a foundation of the company allowing us to bring our ideas into deliverables. She has been working with AI tools to generate translations and create images for the course.

Ella has creativity that is out of this world and is able to conceptualize ideas and bring them into reality in a way that I have not seen before.

She is originally from Wichita, KS and graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in graphic design.

Ella created all of the avatars and their animations. This includes the matching of mouth phonemes to their characters to allow the lip sync for real time data. This was a very challenging task and required lots of research and development.

 Seconds after meeting Fernando you can tell that he operates on a different frequency.

He is originally from Seville, Spain and has been in the USA for 9 years, 2 in Wyoming and 7 in Wichita. He played soccer at Newman where he got his Bachelors in Mathematics and got his Masters in Data Analytics from WSU. He currently works at Emprise as a Data Scientist.

Fernando is leading our machine learning efforts on the data we capture from usage and notifications. This will lead to a custom course for each user based off of what they are interested in and how efficiently they learn.

Jennifer is not only incredibly talent but has a work ethic that I have not seen before. She is able to think strategically which combined with her hard work, makes her extremely effective. Her parents are originally from Mexico and is a first generation student originally from Chicago. Without Jennifer, Chatterbox would not exist. To meet our required deadline she brought on 7 animators and together, they were able to meet our deadline just in time for launch.  

 Gabrielle obviously sees the world differently than the rest of us and that is very present in her work.

She is originally from Newton, KS and came to Wichita State where she graduated with a Bachelors in Marketing and a Minor in Graphic Design.

Gabrielle transformed the user interface of the application bringing many conceptual ideas to execution in a short turnaround time. She is not only able to make Chatterbox look presentable but easily understandable by users of all technological backgrounds.

Juno is an incredibly innovative and ambitious person that isn't afraid to start new things. This has gained him experience in a variety of topics that gives him unique perspectives and insights.
He is originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and came to the United States in 2018. He graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. After a short time of teaching Mathematics, he expressed interest in learning to code. With the help of AI and Senior Engineers, Juno has been able to contribute in very valuable ways and is learning extremely fast.
We look forward to continuing to see how much Juno will grow, learn, and contribute at Chatterbox.
